Minden Gross LLP is the exclusive Toronto member of Meritas, one of the world’s largest and most respected provider of legal services on a global basis. Meritas is comprised of more than 6,500 lawyers in over 160 independent business law firms located in over 65 countries. Meritas offers clients of its member firms, and others requiring legal assistance in unfamiliar jurisdictions, access to full service commercial law firms who meet the highest professional and service standards, whose services are regularly evaluated, and who are deeply rooted in their local communities.

Meritas firms are subject to a rigorous selection and ongoing monitoring process. In Canada, Meritas is represented in each Province and the Northwest Territories through a network of 10 law firms located in 16 Canadian cities. Minden Gross LLP is proud to be the exclusive Toronto member of Meritas.

Membership in Meritas is by invitation only. Member firms are required to adhere to rigorous quality standards and a stringent code of ethics. Member firms, which are ranked in the top 10 in most cities, are required to participate in common governance and are subject to a formal recertification every three years.
