Want to know what former students at Minden Gross had to say about their experience?

Mordecai L. Bobrowsky, MBA - Associate
2003-2004 Articling Student
Osgoode Hall Law School

For me, the greatest benefit of being a part of Minden Gross has been how fast I’ve been able to get involved with files at an extremely high level. Because I’ve been given the leeway to quickly take on more responsibility, the learning curve has been greatly reduced. I have achieved a level of confidence and capability that would have undoubtedly taken me much longer to achieve at a larger firm.

Melodie D. Eng - Associate
2006-2007 Articling Student
2005 Summer Student
University of Western Ontario

During the OCI process, Minden Gross stood out to me from other firms because of its people. It had leading practitioners who loved their job and who seemed to be able to balance work along with the rest of their life. After summering and articling at the firm, I can verify that these things are true. The lawyers at Minden Gross are friendly, approachable, and eager to mentor students. I worked on many interesting files and quickly became part of the team.

2007-2008 Articling Student
2006 Litigation Summer Student
University of Windsor

I think that one of the great things about Minden Gross is the effort that the firm takes to ensure that new members feel comfortable with themselves, their peers and the rest of the firm.

When greeted by every member of the firm - senior partners, associates and support staff - the general theme was and remains, welcome to the firm, welcome to the team. As a summer student in the litigation department, I was exposed to the entire litigation process - ultimately sitting in on a one week trial with a senior partner of the firm. As an articling student in the Real Estate Department, I appreciate the time that senior members of the firm take to educate students on specific matters and on the bigger picture of managing a practice as well.

2007 Summer Student
University of Western Ontario

Minden Gross is an outstanding legal environment in which to grow as a professional. The experiences afforded to me over a summer taught me so much about the practical side of law, helping to balance what is learned more academically in law school. Beyond that, the people who work at Minden Gross are smart, funny and interesting. It is truly a unique firm and I look forward to continuing my development here.

Lisa M. Roscoe - Articling Student
2007-2008 Articling Student
2006 Real Estate Summer Student
University of Western Ontario

I chose to summer with Minden Gross both because I was attracted to the size and practice areas of the firm and because I was truly impressed with the people I met during interview week. After spending a summer working in the real estate department, I can honestly say that I wasn’t ever disappointed.

Students are valued members of the firm and are given challenging, hands-on work from the start.  The lawyers are supportive, friendly and genuinely invested and interested in the professional and personal growth of the summer and articling students.  After spending a great summer with Minden Gross in 2006 I am very pleased to be back for my articles this year, and look forward to gaining experience in other practice areas while continuing to build relationships with the wonderful people here.
